While Cedar City is most commonly known for its stunning landscapes, vibrant arts scene, and easy access to all that Southern Utah has to offer, the city also has a diverse culinary scene that is capturing the attention of locals and visitors alike. From cozy cafes to upscale eateries, there is something for every palate in Cedar City! 

Chinese Food: Parowan Mountain Bistro

The Mountain Bistro is a popular Chinese food restaurant located in the Mountain View Lodge in Parowan, Utah. Besides this great restaurant, this lodge also had an indoor heated swimming pool and jacuzzi, a banquet and reception room, an outdoor gathering space, and more! 

Soup & Sandwich Shop: Great Harvest Bread Co.

Located in the charming downtown shopping area, the Great Harvest Bread Co. is the perfect place to grab a quick lunch between sightseeing and shopping on Main Street. Great Harvest grinds their whole wheat fresh everyday and they use long, traditional methods of baking to create bread. They offer an array of salads, soups, sandwiches, cookies, and much more! You MUST try their cinnamon rolls. 

Home Cooking: All American Diner

The All American Diner offers a wide variety of home cooked foods, such as biscuits and gravy, meatloaf diners, burgers, sandwiches and much more! The All American Diner was founded in 2010 and has been a local gathering spot since! 

Pizza: Pizza Cart 

Wood-fired pizza has become a popular trend in the last few years and the Pizza Cart in Cedar City has been making some of the best wood-fired pizza for the past six years. Besides pizza, this establishment also serves salads, fresh made gelato and sorbets, and more! 

Italian: Chef Alfredo’s Ristorante Italiano

Are you looking for a fine dining restaurant for a date night or a night out with friends? Don’t look any farther than Chef Alfredo’s Ristorante Italiano in Cedar City! Enjoy authentic Italian dishes at Chef Alfredo’s either in Cedar City or at their branch in St. George! Be sure to call ahead for reservations. 

Mexican: Brody’s Mexican Restaurant

Tacos, burritos, enchiladas, and more! Brody’s Authentic Mexican Restaurant has some of the best traditional Mexican dishes that you can find in Southern Utah! It is located in the heart of Cedar City right off of Sage Dr, making it an easy place to stop and grab a bite to eat while in town.

Steaks & BBQ: Rusty’s Ranch House

Rusty’s Ranch House is a canyon dining experience that you’ve got to try out! Serving steaks, BBQ ribs, chicken, and seafood, this is the perfect place for a night out or special occasion. This is one of my personal favorite restaurants in town!
