Local Insight: Hurricane, UT

Home of the Peach Days Celebration.

Hurricane, pronounced Her-ah-kun, is located 40 miles south of Cedar City in Washington County. One of the best things about Hurricane is that the winters are generally not snowy, but locations with winter activities are not too far away. One of the other great things about this fun town is the annual Peach Days celebration. Held over Labor Day weekend, Peach Days includes activities and events like the parade, rodeo, a 12K race, and of course, a peach cook off!
