Local Insight: Beaver

A town with skiing, golfing, and horse races. Located about 50 miles north of Cedar City, Beaver, Utah has plenty of fun activities for tourists and residents alike. The Beaver City Horse Races, the Eagle Point Ski Resort, the Canyon Breeze Golf Course, fishing, camping, and hunting in the nearby Tushar mountain range are just a few of the activities that outdoor enthusiasts are sure to enjoy.  The mountains surrounding Beaver are especially beautiful during the autumn season when the leaves begin to change color. Oh, and don’t forget to stop by The Creamery on your way through town for some “squeaky cheese curds” made right in Beaver.
